This project is my pride and joy, it is an escape room developed in Augmented Reality allowing users to go through an escape room like you would if you went to one in person but from your own home on your phone. This project was made in Unity and developed under Team NT Studios LLC. This project was an amazing learning experience to see what Augmented Reality can really offer to users. This project is a networked multiplayer game that you can play with any of your friends from any location. My work on this project was with the multiplayer network, hint system, some puzzle features, mentoring other software engineers to ensure work got completed, handling source control, handling builds, and creating documentation for future developers to be able to understand how the project works. This project is a tool that will affect how spawning is handled in the game that it is integrated into. It consists of UI elements that can be set and used to dynamically effect where the player will spawn based on the preferences they have selected and the player's location. The algorithm will take all this data and find an ideal spawn location. From there it will find the closest spawn point to the ideal location and spawn the player there. This tool is modular so you can add in more preferences or change what each one is set for to dynamically change your own version of the spawn system. |
This is a platformer game made and built in unity and is a zombie shooter. It uses animations, a finite state machine, artificial intelligence senses, spawning, scene loading, shooting, colliders and triggers. The player has animations for idle, walking, jumping, shooting and shooting while walking. The enemy has animations for idle, walking and attacking. The enemy has the ability to hear and see the player from a raycast to see and a noisemaker on the player for the enemy to hear him. The finite state machine for the enemy switches the enemy into the different states idle, look around, chase and attack. There is a controller/pawn for both the player and the enemy. Audio is also in this game for walking, jumping and shooting along with music that plays throughout the game once loaded in until you win.
